2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Deep fried funny By Travis O Wooten A fun book to read. Full of short stories about life in the South that any true Southerner would enjoy. By the way, I still add peanuts to my coke and drink buttermilk straight up. I love the old gas stations with the little deli inside. Still the best food around. And my dad was totally hooked on video games, from our Atari 2600 to the Nintendo.

By Sam Gaskill I have been a fan of Sean Dietrich for quite some time now from his blog but this is the first book that I have purchased from him. As a collection of short stories, I thought it was fantastic! His stories are witty and humorous, with a few on the darker side. Each one is different but still displayed in his pleasing manner. I was reminded of others, such as comedians that write about the South and the certain whimsical charms that it possesses as I read this. I can’t wait to read another classic from Sean and I highly recommend it!
