About the Author Mark French Buchanan is a Presbyterian pastor specializing in multicultural ministry in the Los Angeles area. He has been an enthusiastic student of Jürgen Moltmann's theology since encountering Dr. Moltmann as a seminarian at Princeton Seminary. We can attempt to discover this “higher calling” by leaping through the hurdles and roadblocks inevitable in all of our lives. This knowledge allows me to be receptive to the gracious gift of knowing that I am not alone, that I am loved, and I will be forgiven… no matter what.
