Great for a Geriatric Like Me By Mary S After all this time on this earth, I am embarrassed to admit that I have never used a tablet, and thought until recently that it was another name for a pill. When my kids gave me this Fire for my birthday so that I could stay in touch with them, I was overwhelmed to say the least. Luckily, they taught me how to use the Kindle application and pointed me to this book. I really appreciated the simplicity of the instructions in this book which, after a couple of weeks, helped me to become quite proficient with this new gadget. The author assumes no prior knowledge of computers or other electronic devices. I appreciated it so much, in fact, that I even figured out how to write a review. This was a wonderful reference tool!

Pleasantly Surprised at the High Quality of this Guide By Matt Murphy When I first purchased the Fire HD 8, I was a bit disappointed with its performance. I thought about purchasing a manual, but I've never really liked to read manuals because they're usually full of useless information that you have to dig through to find what you need. I gave the Help Me guide a shot, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was straight and to the point. No humor, no back stories about the origin of the Fire, and no other filler that so many authors use to fill space. This guide gave me exactly what I needed to help me navigate the tablet with greater ease, including some tips and tricks that made using the slow user interface a whole lot more bearable. I would definitely purchase another Help Me guide in the future.
