I only started by reading the first ten pages or so, but I can already tell that this is the book I've been looking for for a long time. I owned Jody's Alfred beginning jazz book/DVDs awhile back and really liked it: Jody is good at taking jazz concepts and really breaking them down to their foundations, to easier understand them. I am really looking forward to getting into this book, because I can tell that it will help me improve at jazz soloing if I spend the time and effort.

If there's anything Jody Fisher doesn't know about the guitar, it isn't worth knowing. I buy his books as soon as I see his name on them. How's that for a good review?
