About the Author Keena Keel formally studied and was certified in her craft at the New England Conservatory of Music's Piano Technology Program. As a former recording artist who loved the sound of the instrument that accompanied her while she sang, she felt that this was a profession that she would enjoy. Ultimately Keena earned the highest title of Registered Piano Tuner Technician through the Piano Technicians Guild and earned the title of Field Expert with Piano Life Saver Systems.

By Adrienne Buffum I bought this book as a reference to help me treat my piano investment with the best of care. I was extremely happy with the information and advice it provided but even more so happy with the fact it reads like a book. Little anecdotes and stories throughout the pages along with tons of information. I couldn't put it down. Anyone who owns a piano needs to own this book.

However, I have never understood them. This book makes the instrument less of a mystery. I am getting to know my piano in a way I never thought that I could. This book explains to me, in layman's terms how to take care of the piano, inside and out. The anecdotes that Keena Keel includes in the book make it very enjoyable to read. It is a user friendly manual with very practical advice in it.The lay out of the book and the photos make it visually appealing as well. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in pianos for any reason!
