0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. but what i read was very funny. very tongue-in-cheek By Faye this book is a gift, so i just perused it, but what i read was very funny. very tongue-in-cheek, and amusing. i like that each part is short, it's easy to consume a few stories in a sitting, and then go about the rest of your day. i like the mix of humor and facts. i think the gift recipient will love it.
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Not worth it By WouldYa I'd compare this to the "Survivor Handbooks" published a decade ago. While mildly entertaining, this book doesn't compare to that series. Probably the worst book omin out of the Uncle Johns camp.

I normally LOVE the Bathroom Readers' Institute's line of books, but this one seemed to be a little.... to dull. It certainly delivers on all the info it tells you it has between the covers, but, it's just lacking anything that keeps it fun or exciting.It's good info to have if you are ever caught in a wild situation, but the book was a little too serious for what I was expecting.
