About the Author J. C. Cauthon is a full-time author. She has always been a story-teller, taking her first plunge into the writing world with a short story written in kindergarten. The author gives us 366 prompts (bonus for the leap year), assigning one every day. While it is not necessary to take on each prompt on its assigned day, it would be quite a challenge to do so. This work is ideal for a writer, of any skill level, looking for inspiration. I'm sure that it is a resource to which I will return quite often through the year (and unlike a regular calendar, it will still be of use long after the current year has ended). Bottom line: This is an excellent value and a packet of "seeds" which may well generate many bouquets.

With daily prompts every day is a new challenge. J.C. Cauthon has the most clever prompts. They make your mind reel and the short story, poem or scene comes to mind and you have another product to show for your day of writing. It has really pushed my creativity to the max.J.C. Cauthon is a writer herself and knows what spurs creativity very well. I keep it on my Kindle reader so that I can access it every day.

These "seeds" are a wonderful resource that will allow any writer (new or not-so-new) to be able to broaden their horizons. A different prompt for everyday, even one for Leap Day. A tool that can be used not just for 2016, but for any time. You won't be disappointed in the reading and allowing your mind to bloom with the results.
