By Amazon Customer I like that furigana are included so I can read it more smoothly without pausing. The fill-in-the-blanks section is interesting too because it made me try to recall the correct vocab words and particles to use. Plus the story itself is cute!

This one does, which is very helpful for practicing reading quickly and fluidly if you're not interested in tackling kanji (this book does have a kanji-only version too).The teaching notes in this book are minimal: simple enough to understand but challenging. I'd recommend for intermediate Japanese students, or maybe beginner-intermediate? It helps that the Japanese isn't old-fashioned, with modern vocabulary I'll be able to reuse - other books have included weird vocabulary like "bow and arrow", which hopefully is not a phrase I'll be saying in Japanese (or any other language) anytime soon.

About the Author

Timbaland, born Timothy Z. Mosley, has played many creative roles throughout his celebrated career. He was a member of DeVante Swing’s Da Bassment crew and is one half of the hip-hop duo Timbaland & Magoo. Considered one of the most successful producers in music history, he is the executive music producer of Fox’s runaway-hit television show Empire. The CEO of his own label, Mosley Music Group, Timbaland lives in Miami, Florida, with his wife and children.

I've been a HUGE Timbaland fan ever since I heard Luv 2 Luv U, The Rain, and Up Jumps da Boogie. Great to hear how he has overcome so much adversity in his life to produce music for over 20 years. Fun fact: He was in a group for a short time with Pharrell, another great producer. It's a quick read that provides more insight about perhaps the most innovative musical mind of our time. I wish I could hear the story behind every song, but the insight that he provides makes it good. I'd recommend it to anyone who is a music fan and especially anyone who has been forced to put a song produced by Timbaland on repeat.

I felt like I was sitting on the couch having a casual conversation with Timbaland! I loved it. Such an easy read and I feel like we are somehow friends. I'm 10 years older but but my passion was to be a recording or sound engineer. Becoming a single mother at 18 I was unable to pursue that dream I did go for my second choice though and became a Respiratory therapist. Wonderful book by one of the best!!!!!!!!!

I've never been into books but this one kept me interested the whole way through. It has also made me look at certain individuals in a different light. My only minor tidbit was that I wish he touched on a couple of other points in his career. I would have read the extra 50-100 pages that entailed. But overall a good read for the casual fan or somebody who has an interest in autobiographies. this book alone has me excited to read more books and not just autobiographies
