During the past decade, he has designed, conceived, developed, and led data mining, text mining, natural language processing, information extraction and retrieval, and search systems for various domains and business verticals, including engineering infrastructure, consumer finance, healthcare, and materials. In the loyalty domain, he has conceived and built innovative consumer loyalty models and designed enterprise-wide systems for personalized promotions. He has filed over ten patent applications at the US and Indian patent office and has several publications to his credit. He currently lives and works in Bangaluru, India.

By Mathias Bustamante I bought the book because of the 5 stars review, quickly realized is piece of trash. The book has countless errors, some pieces of Python code are unreadable, the recipes are extremely difficult to follow because there is not even the output of a print statement in the recipe itself. I'm not even talking about the content of the recipes itself, the first 100 pages of the book is Python 101, not data science related at all. Don't buy this

If you need to do something related to data analysis in Python and you look for example how it should be done in proper way, you will most likely find it described step by step, with use of most popular Python libraries, in a nice style.

I really hate it, and I hate that anyone smart enough to be engaged in writing or publishing technical books has so little respect for the value of educational materials. Please be cautious when dealing with such unsavory works; better yet, avoid them altogether.
