This book is for YOU if you are a prospective C# programmer and like a CHALLENGE. The content is tactical, practical and highly modular to make it easier for you to learn. This mean that you actually have to read and implement the exercises in order to learn everything the book teaches. About the Author Jonas started a company back in 1994 focusing on education in Microsoft Office and the Microsoft operating systems. While still studying at the university in 1995, he wrote his first book about Widows 95 as well as a number of course materials. In the year 2000, after working as a Microsoft Office developer consultant for a couple of years, he wrote his second book about Visual Basic 6.0. Between 2000 and 2004 he worked as a Microsoft instructor with two of the largest educational companies in Sweden. First teaching Visual Basic 6.0, and when Visual Basic.NET and C# were released he started teaching these languages as well as the .NET Framework. Teaching classes on all levels for beginner to advanced developers. From the year 2005, Jonas shifted his career towards consulting once again, working hands on with the languages and framework he taught. Jonas wrote his third book C# programming aimed at beginners to intermediate developers in 2013 and now in 2015 his fourth book C# for beginners - The Tactical Guide Book was published.

By Adam Gustafsson Jonas Fagerberg's book is the one I am using when I learned C sharp, it is incredibly easy to read and understandable, if you do not understand something, you drop it in place while you do the exercises to the paragraph you read where you are doing the exercise steps by step and at the same time everything is explained properly and in addition pictures from the code! Very easy to navigate your way through the book if you would like to find a special piece that you want to learn. I recommend this book 10/10!

A beginner By Claudio M B I got this book for some week ago.As a rookie programmer with only some knowledge of computer science and programming,this book has been a great column of support and reference to rely on when digging into this world of code.Easy to follow and understand. A mind opener when encountering obstacles and overcoming problems.Also nevertheless uncomplicated and straight forward wich is important when teaching unexperienced.I recommend it much for C# rookies!*****
